VISIONS OF DISFIGUREMENT ‎– Aeons Of Misery / VINYL LP

The end result is an absolutely spectacular album. Visions Of Disfigurement will kill you with Aeons of Misery. One of the heaviest and most compact albums in a long time and this is definitely the path the band must go down and hone their craft. From start to finish the album keeps pounding your skull with sick vocals and heavy riffs. There is no denying that fans of the extreme will get their fill here and get extra gains for the gym sessions. In fact, it’s been a long time since I gave an album within the brutal/slam school a score higher than 4, but Aeons of Misery deserves it. It’s just heavy, disgusting and sick music made to tear fans of this style apart, nothing more and nothing less. It must also be said that the cover is wonderful, that Balrog, a kind of demon fighting a Lovecraft-like creature, is a very appropriate cover that adds the icing on the cake (great job by Pedro Sena). This will be a hard album to top in its genre this year, so don’t miss it!
