ZOLFO – Descending Into Inexorable Absence / VINYL 2LP

This spring zolfo Zolfo will release their new full-length album “Descending into Inexorable Absence”. The second album of their discography will be released on double gatefold colored vinyl.

A 58-minute polyphase composite, split into a massive mix of doom/sludge intensity and layers of blackened, post-metal taint, recorded at MOLOTOV by Andrea Lenoci, mixed and mastered at Sky hammer Studio by Chris Fielding and framed by Khaos Diktator Design. zolfo /’tsolfo/ or /’dzolfo/ [lat. sŭlphur or sŭlfur] – A chemical element that exists in various physical forms such as gas, liquid, solid and… music! The musical form has only five valence electrons, strong smell and is often accompanied by a green toxic fog and claustrophobic, heavy, and distorted sounds, that evokes an intense and suggestive sensory experience, characterized by oppressive, dissonant, enveloping riffs and extremely acid rough vocals, that transport the listener into a dark and unsettling sonic world. The italian doom/sludge-mongers @zolfodoom are set to release their second full- length album “Descending into Inexorable Absence”. Six new tracks of massive doom/sludge madness merged into blackened and post- metal contaminations that will take the listener in a 58-minutes conceptual journey inside the wandering cycle of human and sunlight conditions, never quite finding the feeling of being at home somewhere, forever fleeing from the pursuit of darkness.
