ROSY FINCH leaves us in shock with their new EP ‘SECONDA MORTE’ Four dark songs that introduce us to the Alicante trio in their darkest and most intimate facet. A musical journey based on the poem “The Divine Comedy” where Dante Alighieri walks through hell, purgatory and paradise to meet his deceased beloved Beatrice and find faith in God. With this inspiration the trio, in their most different and personal work, fuses an eclectic mix of grunge and alternative rock from the 90s with influences of metal and sludge in gloomy songs in which melodies play an important role. Atmospheric and with an aura of mystery and transcendental tones, the four songs dig into dark abysses in which doom, sludge and even some post-rock winks, show us another facet of their alternative essence. Because without giving up on their principles, ROSY FINCH decides to explore other ways to convey their musical creativity. Surely when you start listening to ‘SECONDA MORTE’ you will feel surprised, but as you continue listening, you will feel attracted by the magnetic power of their disturbing songs. Introspective songs, full of mystery, at times depressive, but overflowing with nuances. Without a doubt, another example of the band continuing to evolve and create music with greater creativity. ‘SECONDA MORTE’ may be a different work from what we are used to, but no less fascinating and heavy for that. Sometimes meditative and disturbing and other times full of rage, the band combines insidious and heavy riffs to perfection. During live performances, they create a wall of sound through elements of feedback and noise combined with supernatural screams and atmospheric chants.
