LA MENÄCE – Erebus / CD DIGIPACK

La Menäce, the neocrust band created by four musicians with extensive experience in Khmer, El Ego, Lee Cantinas, Dixpersión, Cantona, The Great Destroyer X, Deymos or Sunfaia, will release Erebus, their new EP, on CD and digital on March 4.
These new songs are inspired by Franklin’s lost expedition, using the disappearance of the ships Terror and Erebus in 1845 «as a metaphor to explore the feelings of loneliness, despair and survival present in human beings,» explains the Madrid-based combo.
Recorded during 2023 at the Producciones Desastrosas studio and self-produced by the band with the technical help of Señor Lobo, La Menäce return to the crust of groups like Ictus, Ekkaia or Tragedy to also add some melodic death a la At The Gates, post hardcore very Touché Amoré, speed Comeback Kid, the blackened crust of Svdestada, also black’n’roll by Kvelertak, and even more modern influences such as that of Svalbard.
The result is surprising, powerful and addictive, and has also been finished off again by great art by Mario C. Vaises. Epic bearded sneaker, as they say La Menäce!
